Draft for counsel review
Privacy at the Academy
This notice describes how academy.fusiontrace.io works today. It is a draft for counsel review.
What the Academy keeps
- Your name, work email, agency or organization, role and pathway, given by whoever invited you.
- Which modules and labs you completed, and when. Not your knowledge-check answers, and not how long you watched or read.
- Each exam sitting: the questions drawn, the order shown, your answers, the score and the times. You see your result and the modules to review, never the key.
- The proctor's log for a supervised sitting: that your photo ID was checked by eye, never its number or an image of it, and any incident.
- Certificates, their seals and every change of status. These are kept for good, so a certificate can always be checked by its ID (Standard D4.5).
- Whether you chose to show your name when someone checks your certificate. The default is no (Standard D5.3).
What the Academy never does
- No analytics, no advertising, no pixels, no pixel or redirect link in email, and no request to any other site.
- No webcam, screen or keystroke monitoring. A supervised exam is watched live by a person, and nothing is recorded.
- No case contents, ever. No form asks for them.
- Individuals are never listed in the public Registry. Only agencies and Master Certified organizations are.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. It is first-party, secure and not readable by scripts. It is set only on academy.fusiontrace.io.
The Academy sends sign-in codes, invitations, reminders before a due date, and notices of a change of status, from academy@fusiontrace.io, through Cloudflare Email Sending.
Your record
You can ask to see, correct or delete what the Academy holds about you by writing to standard@fusiontrace.io. Certificate records and status changes stay, because a certificate must stay checkable by its ID.
